The Prawn Noodle

To day May and I went to the coffee shop at the junction of Lavender Street and Jalan Besar Road to have our lunch. We still order the same type of food, that is "Xiao Long Bao" and Prawn noodle.

To day I want to talk about the prawn noodle. The stall selling prawn noodle is called Albert Street Prawn Noodle.Particularly this prawn noodle is different from those Hawker Centre who selling the prawn noodle with pre-cooked prawn and the soup has very fishy smell. I like this prawn noodle because it give you the fresh big prawn which sliced into 2 halves and freshly boiled just for few seconds before deliver to you so that the prawn meat is very fresh ,tender and tasty. the soup is fresh, tasty and does not have any fishy smell. The prices are $3.00. $4.00 and $5.00 for a bowl of noodle. The different in price is due the the number of prawn added to the noodle, $3.00 a bowl has 4 slices of halved prawn, while $4.00 has 6 slices of halved prawn and so on.
