To day May and I went to Geylang East Library to return our Library books . I borrow another 5 photoshop books namely Photoshop CS4 down Dirty Tricks, Photoshop CS2 Creative Photoshop Lighting Techniques, Photoshop Finishing Touches and Photoshop Element 2 down Dirty Tricks.

My favorite food - "xiao long Bao"

A Coffee shop at the junction of Lavender Street and Jalan Beasr road has a Chinese stall selling "Xiao Long Boa" and Chinese "La Mian". The "Xiao Long Bao" is the food I frequently patronise. The reason is that the "Xiao Long Bao" is very juicy and its skin is vey thin yet the filling is very tasty. The price is also very reasonable compare to the famous " Ting Tai Hong" restaurant. One bamboo bucket of "Xiao Long Bao" contains 8 pieces just cost you $5.50. It Almost half the price that the restaurant has offered. And the waiting time is much shorter than the restaurant, just 5 minutes you would get the freshly cooked "xiao Long Bao" Really for your hungry stomach.

Hunting for blingual computer toy at Marina Square

8-11-2010, Monday, May suggested to have lunch at Marina Square and at the same time go and hunt for the bilingual computer toy that Lynn asked to buy for her two kids to play and learn chinese. We went through the whole shopping mall but still can't find any bilingual computer toy.However, we have found three types of computers toys with similar uses but do not have bilingual languages.

To-day at noon time I and my wife went to Geylang East Library to return our library books at the sametime to have our lunch at the coffee shop opposite the library. I borrow another 4 books namely "How to cheat in Photoshop element 8",How to cheat in Photoshop CS4","100% photoshop" and Access 2007".

My son Kelvin, gave me a $100 Takashimaya voucher as my birthday present. To day I decided to use the voucher to buy some things at the sametime to have a stroll along the Orchard road. At the end I bought three Polo T Shirts and a cake baking tray.

To celebrate my Brithday in Advance

Yesterday my son Kelvin gave me a treat of a la carte buffet dinner at Hai Xiang Restaurant which is situated at the 3rd level of ParkRoyal Hotel on Kitchener Road.

Air -conditioner DIY Service

on 1st of Oct, Friday, I decided to service the air cond with the gas by my self. So I went to North East refrigeration parts Pte Ltd and bought a set of meter gauge and a cylinder of air cond gas (No 22). The bill was $112.30. I spent just 20 minutes to pump in the gas and the air cond. was back to normal condition again. The gas I used is not even more than 10% of the whole cylinder of gas I bought. It means I still have lot of gas left behind for next DIY service.

I bought a cylinder of air cond gas (Refrigerant 22) which costs me $56.00.

I bought a set of Air pump meter gauge which cost me $48.00.

on 26th of May 2010, my master room's air-cond. was not working properly. It look like the air-cond.- gas was runing out. So I called Ever Freezing service man to come and top up the gas. At the end, the bill was $ 94.30. but after 5 months the air-cond-gas ran out again.

My Chinese Birthday is lunar 6th of Sept. Yesterday my elder sisiter bought me a birthday cake.To-day at the noon time I decided to take some photos first before go out for lunch. At present, my home has left only I and my wife. It is quite lonely right. but it can't be helped. When the children are all grown up, they have built up their own nest and enjoy their own world of live.

New refrigerator

Last Friday morning accidentally cut off the vertical fan's wire, it caused the power supply broke down. At 5 pm I found the refrigerator had some funny sound, I thought the frig. is out of order. After the dinner I and May went to Court Mega Store to look for the new frig, but the price is comparatively high, so we went to another store called Mega Discount store at National Stadium to look for the new frig. At last we bought a Hitachi new frig which costs us $960. On Thursday the frig. is delivered to our place at 6.30 pm .
